I’ve had the pleasure of fashioning garments for thousands of women for all kinds of moments in their lives. I’ve created looks for daywear, to work wear, to those incredible public talks in galleries and lecture halls, or those once-in-a-lifetime performances on stage. I’ve designed pieces for special wedding days, fun race days, and outrageous formals and balls.
Alongside my head couturier and longtime collaborator, Lisa Turton, I am running Masterclasses in the Jean Bas Atelier on bustling Darby Street in Newcastle.
I share my techniques and a few trade secrets with you in our intimate classes. We like to keep the numbers small so we can really get to know one another and follow the conversations where they lead us.
